"Walking on Sacred Ground"
THE PURPOSE
To unite all the women of the church in Christian Fellowship. With divine help and Guidance, develop an understanding of the Entire church, deepen spiritual life, stimulate Sacrificial service in the home, the local Church and the United Church of Christ.
The women of the Kansas-Oklahoma Conference of the United Church of Christ is a Department of the council for Lay Life and Work. Bethany Church is a part of the Eastern Association of the Kansas–Oklahoma Conference, therefore we are a part of the Council for Lay Life and Work.
LESSON LEADERS
Lessons can be found in the drawer in the Parish House. Feel free to use any or all of the material. If you have something else you want to use feel free to do so.
HOSTESSES/FLOWER REMINDER
Keep the refreshments simple. If you can have enough for the Consistory to enjoy after their meeting, that is always appreciated.
As you read through the book you might notice that if you signed up as hostess for a monthly meeting, your committee is in charge of flowers/plants for the church services for that month up until the next meeting. It might mean that you will have to have flowers/plants even the first Sunday of that next month so please remember to take care of seeing that there are flowers/plants for church each Sunday after we have a monthly meeting.
